Adventures in Diving Courses

The PADI Adventures in Diving program is flexible to allow certified divers to experience new activities one dive at a time (an Adventure Dive) or as a course with several dives that leads to a new qualification (such as Advanced Open Water).

Some of the Adventure Dives on offer include: AWARE Fish Identification, Boat, Deep, Drift, Multilevel and Computer, Night, Peak Performance Buoyancy, Underwater Naturalist, Underwater Navigation, Underwater Photographer (camera rental applies), and Wreck Dive. Check with your PADI Instructor for entry requirements (minimum age and certification level), which differ depending on the activity.

Adventure Dives can be collected (a certificate and log book entry is issued) so that divers can earn their new qualification over time if they wish. So, even if you plan to only dive for one day, consider an Adventure Dive so that you can try something new underwater and get credit for the experience.  

PADI ADVENTURE DIVER

You can earn this certification with 3 Adventure Dives, which can be completed in as little as a single day. A book is provided with this PADI courses, which includes all the Adventure Dives and is a valuable source of information about diving activities.

• Pre-requisites: PADI Open Water Diver
• Inclusions: Learning materials, training sessions, 3 dives, equipment rental, PADI certification with Project AWARE card
  Approximate Time: 1-2 days

PADI ADVANCED OPEN WATER DIVER

With 5 Adventure Dives (including the Deep and Navigation dives) you can earn your advanced certification, which is usually a 2 or 3 day course. A book is provided with this PADI courses, which includes all the Adventure Dives and is a valuable source of information about diving activities.

• Pre-requisites: PADI Open Water Diver
• Inclusions: Learning materials, training sessions, 5 dives, equipment rental, PADI certification with Project AWARE card

SCUBA REVIEW

For those divers who’ve been out of the water for a while, this refresher offers a chance to brush up on knowledge and skills before embarking on a dive safari or a course. It only takes a couple of hours and will give you the confidence to fully enjoy diving after a break. The knowledge portion of the review is now also available via eLearning online for added convenience. Dive equipment rental is included with this refresher.

Note that a Scuba Review is usually included within the Adventure Diver and Advanced Open Water courses.
